My In-Home Postpartum Doula Care incorporates emotional, informational & physical support to help you recover, rest and bond with your newborn. It includes:
- Newborn care: feeding, bathing swaddling, infant soothing & baby wearing techniques
- Postpartum care, including sitz baths
- Nourishing and easy-to-digest foods and teas to speed birthing parent’s recovery
- Breastfeeding and pumping education and help
- Light housekeeping, laundry and work pertaining to the baby
- Errands and shopping
- Infant massage education
- Referrals to health and wellness providers (Eg. lactation consultants, mental health therapists, parenting groups, classes.)
